  • Day 2


    Enjoy morning and afternoon jungle ride at Kaziranga National Park.


    Nestled in the north-eastern Zone, Kaziranga houses the biggest population of one-horned rhinos and largest density of tigers in India. The mixed deciduous and semi-evergreen forests are home to a wide variety of animals - Bengal fox, Fishing cats, leopards, jackal, sloth bear, Indian pangolins, Gray mongoose, hare, wild boar, hog deer, wild Asiatic water buffalo, gaur, sambar, flying squirrels. Endangered Ganges dolphins are found in rivers here. While undertaking jungle safari, don’t dare to step out into the tall grasslands which happen to home viper, King Cobra, Rock python, common krait.

    Watchtowers are perfect for ornithologists. Watchout for lesser and greater adjutant, black-necked stork, White-bellied heron, fish eagle, pied kingfisher, common teal, water cock, weaver, brown fish owl, spotted owlet, white goose, black bellied tern, Indian vulture, Bengal Florican.


    Overnight in Kaziranga

  • Day 1

    Start at Dehradun. Drive to Sankri (1950 m) [220 km, 10 hrs]

  • Day 2

    Drive to Taluka (2100 m) [10 km, 1 hr]. Trek to Seema [14 kms]

  • Day 3

    Trek to Kalkattiyadhar/Bashla camp (3000 m) [12 km, 6 hrs]

  • Day 4

    Trek to Har ki Doon Valley (3566 m). Trek back to Kalkattiyadhar/Bashla camp [10 Km, 9 hrs]

  • Day 5

    Trek to Seema [12 km, hrs]

  • Day 6

    Trek to Taluka [9 km]. Drive to Sankri [12 km, 1 hrs]

  • Day 7

    Drive to Dehradun [220 km, 10 hrs]. Trip ends at Dehradun

•Three meals in a day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner). From dinner on Day 1 to breakfast on Day 7

•Accommodation is on Guesthouse/Homestay (Day 1 & Day 6) & Camp (Day 2 to Day 5)

•Accommodation on triple sharing basis on Camp (Double sharing for couples only)
